Harvey Replacement Windows
 Harvey windows feature Intercept, a warm edge spacer system which provides greater seal longevity and 10% warmer indoor glass temperatures. Harvey vinyl windows with Low-E/Argon gas filled glazing have earned the ENERGY STAR seal of approval.
Beware of Windows with inferior "spiral-style" balance which require frequent adjustment and become more difficult to operate over time. We use only top-of-the-line block and tackle balances which never need adjustment and offer hassle-free fingertip operation. Our vinyl widows also offer the convenience of tilt-in sashes for easy cleaning.

Harvey replacement windows
 Classic Double Hung with Welded Sash
Harvey's welded-sash design is heat sealed at 400 degrees for a permanent bond which provides years of trouble-free performance. The welded sash has been designed with an exterior glazing bead which offers a seamless interior finish. Manufactured in our factory with fully automated equipment, you're assured a product consistent and true to exacting standards every time. Available in white, almond, or medium bronze.

Intercept Warm Edge Glazing System
 Intercept
is a unique, tin plated steel seamless U-channel spacer
bar which is located at the point of contact where the
glass is sealed to the window frame. The U-channel
spacer bar is manufactured as one continuous piece thus
providing excellent structural integrity and superior
thermal performance in all Harvey windows. In addition,
Intercept "warm edge" technology provides 10% warmer
indoor glass edge temperatures, provides for outstanding
argon gas retention, a higher "R" value, and excellent
condensation resistance.
Windows with "clear" glass are the least efficient,
while windows with Low-E are much more thermally
effective. The best performing windows are those using
Low-E/Argon glazing. With this glazing, all Harvey vinyl
windows are ENERGY STAR qualified.
Low-E Glass
Low-emittance (Low-E) is a coating that increases a
window or door's ability to diminish heat transfer, thus
saving heating and cooling costs. In addition to energy
savings, Low-E also effectively reduces the amount of
transmitted ultraviolet light which can damage carpets,
fabrics, and drapes. Harvey uses Solarban® 60 Low-E
Glass from PPG Industries which is ideal Massachusetts.
Low-E/Argon Gas
 We
combine PPG Intercept®, Low-E Glass and Argon gas
between the glass for superior thermal efficiency. Argon
gas is much heavier than air, making it more difficult
for warm or cold air to pass through. This glazing
choice will meet or exceed most local building code
requirements and provides ENERGY STAR® qualified
performance.
